The Longevity Revolution

LongevityRevolution-Poster.jpeg

Tells the story of how food is making the world sicker, and how our obsolete system, which is focused on sick care, needs to be replaced by medical care focusing on new discoveries and healthy longevity.

From Ecuador to Okinawa, to Italy, to the UK and USA, world-leading scientists and experts from the fasting, calorie-restricted, and longevity fields, will make the case for why the current healthcare system — which is not working and is bankrupting many countries — must be replaced by a system focused on nutrition for healthy longevity. The documentary will also capture the essence of different testimonies; from centenarians and their eating habits throughout their life to those of people with mutations that protect them from diseases and those who survived deadly illnesses thanks to nutrition-based interventions.

Unlike other documentaries, each story will be presented together with scientific studies at some of the world’s top universities and hospitals. This ground-breaking documentary, which will be distributed worldwide, could potentially save millions of lives.

The Filmmakers

To give the documentary the direction and cinematic feel it deserves, the production teamed up with multi-Oscar Nominee Barry Alexander Brown (Blackkklansman, Inside Man), who is co-directing, Emmy-winning cinematographer John Rosario (Kirk Gibson Ceremonial First Pitch, Son Of The South) who is shooting the project and social impact Producer Chiara Tilesi (All The Invisible Children). All three, with decades of experience in the industry, have joined forces with Prof. Valter Longo, named by Time magazine as the only nutrition expert among the 50 most influential people in healthcare, to bring his vision of informing the world about the benefits of nutrition-centered interventions focused on “juventology” and healthy longevity.
